Have you heard of the Ark of the Covenant?
Do you know about Mary, too?
One is from the Old Testament,
One is from the New.
Both stories are the Word of God,
Their messages are true;
But when you see them side by side,
A hidden part comes through.
In The Word Within, the sixth book in the Old and New series, authors Maura Roan McKeegan and Scott Hahn tell the story of God's plan of salvation for his people. Just as the Ark of the Covenant was the resting place for God's Word, written in stone, the Blessed Virgin Mary carried God's Word, Jesus Christ, within her womb. Together, their stories reveal the amazing gift of God’s mercy.
